Tip distribution

Configure how the total tip pool is split, then upload a single CSV for all staff. Tips are allocated without deductions in line with the Employment (Allocation of Tips) Act 2023.

Configuration

Define up to 10 departments. Their allocation shares must total 100%.

Define up to 5 seniority levels with multipliers or points.

Choose band sizes and multipliers so longer-serving staff can receive a higher share.

Department allocation

Each department share controls how much of the total tip pot is set aside for that department before tips are split between employees.

Seniority levels

Seniority multipliers adjust each employee's share on top of their hours. A multiplier of 1.00 keeps the share the same, 1.50 gives 50% more.
